Ashley Eagleson was a part of something very special this past summer. First of all she was part of the first graduation class of the University of California, Merced. UC Merced is California's newest University of California Schools, akin to UCLA and UC Berkeley. Ashley Eagleson, who entered the University in its inaugural year four years ago, graduated this past summer as a part of UC Merced's first undergraduate class. The keynote speaker at this event was none other than the wife of President Barak Obama, Michelle Obama. Michelle spoke to a crowd of over 12000 people who braved the 100 degree plus temperatures to hear her deliver a very inspiring message, encouraging graduates to "give something back to the community." Ashley is the daughter of the late Leslie Wagoner, the granddaughter of Dale Bolden, the great granddaugher of Helen Moultrie, the great great daughter of Vernon and Lydia Doyle.

Few ever live the opportunity that Ava Doyle is enjoying. She is currently working as an intern in at the White House. Ava is seat to the left of President Barak Obama's press secretary Robert Gibbs. In the picture below, Ava is standing second from the left of the Secretary. Ava is the daugher of Aaron Doyle, the granddaughter of Spencer (Sonny) Doyle, Jr. and the great granddaughter of Spencer and Pearl Doyle.
